Film Producer, joined Directors Company as a film producer after the magazine editorial office and the film distributor. After that, he has been engaged in a wide range of activities with a deep affection for genre of film, such as film produce, film distribution and publicity, cinematographer and etc. Currently, a member of “All Nippon Producers Association”. As a director, involved in The Guard from Underground (director Kiyoshi Kurosawa), Nuru-nuru Kan-kan (director Yoichi Nishiyama), Harami (director Yuji Tajiri) and etc. As a distributor, Agatha ou Les Lectures illimitees (director Marguerite Duras), The Idols (director Marc’o), Throw Down (director Johnny To), The Magicians (director Song Il-Gon) and etc.

  Hideki MAEDA
Professor of French Philosophy, Rikkyo University. Author of Chinmoku Suru Saussure (Saussure’s Silence), Gengo No Yami Wo Nukete (La Livre De Luciole), Hideo Kobayashi, Aru Mono No Miwaku, and others. Art publications include Cezanne- Painter Metier. Translation and annotation in Saussure Dangiroku Chukai (original title: COURS DE LINGUISTIQUE GÅLENÅLERALE 1908-1909 INTRODUCTION: d'aprÅMes des notes d'etudiants by Ferdinand de Saussure), and Kioku To Sei. Film-related titles include Dialogue with Alexander Sokurov-Voice of Soul, Dream of Substance, Film-Image Sacrament, and The House of Anjiro Ozu.

  Nobutaka YAMAOKA
Film Director and Producer. ‘PICKLED PUNK’ which is his full length first film produced by 16-mm, was won the special jury prize at The Pia Film Festival, then it was invited showing at a lot of film festivals including Berlin International Film Festival. His filmmaking style to produce a film all alone like production, director, audio, art and edit carves out all his own picture niche as an isolated creation beyond existing filmmaking methodology. Although he is far from prolific, his new work is always paid attention, and has been still welcomed from overseas film festivals as an exceptional person of underground. In the latest films, Fix, landed on Japan through the world premium at Pusan International Film Festival, and Sorano, the documentary film analyzed Tori, the first film directed by Tadanobu Asano in detail. His first new visual work in 3 years, Planet Mega-dolce, serialized in an internet, has got a lot of attention recently.

  Inuhiko YOMOTA
Professor of Motion Picture History and Comparative Literature, Meiji Gakuen University. Also a well-known critic and reviewer for motion pictures and other art forms, spanning from Manga (comics) to classical literature. Author of Bungakuteki Kioku, Kaihi to Kodei, Odysseus no Kikan, Kokoro ha Korogaru Ishi no Yoni, and others. A great number of film-related publications include Eigashi He No Shotai (Introductino to History of Motion Pictures), Nihon Eiga No Radical Na Ishi (The Radical Intent of Japanese Movies), Eiga To Hyosho Fukanosei (Motion Pictures and The Impossibility of Representation), and Asia No Naka No Nihon Eiga (Japanese Motion Pictures in Asia). Co-author of Godard, Film, and History –A History of Film.
